Brijbhushan Sharan Singh elected as president of South Asian Wrestling Federation

New Delhi: The general body meeting of South Asian Wrestling Federation was held on February 5, 2016 at Hotel Vivanta, Guwahati [Assam] during the 12th SAF Games. Brijbhushan Sharan Singh was unanimously elected as president of South Asian Wrestling Federation.
Tabiur Rehman from Bangladesh was also unanimously elected as secretary general of the said federation. The following members from different SAF countries were also unanimously elected as Office Bearers of the Federation:

1. Chawdhury Mohd. Ajgar from Pakistan : Vice President
2. U.H. Neville Pdmashri, Sri Lanka : Vice President
3. Rajmohammed Ansari, Nepal : Vice President

The house unanimously authorised Brijbhushan Sharan Singh, MP to appoint one joint secretary from India and treasurer from Afghanistan. The house also unanimously authorised Brijbhushan Sharan Singh, MP to appoint one executive member from each SAF countries.
