In 10m Air Rifle Women Individual shooting competition India swept Gold, Silver and Bronze Medals. Apurvi Chandela clinched the Gold, Silver won by Pooja Ghatakar while Elizabeth Susan Koshy settled for Bronze Medal.
In 50m Pistol Men Team shooting competition India won the Gold at the 12th South Asian Games.
The Gold winning Indian team members were Omkar Singh, P.N. Prakash and Om Prakash. Pakistani team members Khan Kalimullah, Akhtar Muhammad and Ullah Kalem won the Silver Medal while Bangladeshi shooters Mohendra Singha, Ahmad Sakil and Md. Anwar Hossain bagged the Bronze Medal.
