Patiala: The Punjab Fencing Association & Punjabi University , Patiala , under the auspicious of Fencing Association of India is organizing 5th National Fencing Federation Cup (Late Arun Kumar Vij Memorial Trophy) for men & women at Multipurpose Indoor hall, Punjabi University , Patiala from 24th to 26th June, 2013.

In this Championship about 300 Fencers & officials will participate from all over India . All the participants & officials will be provided free boarding & lodging. All the matches will be played under the Rules of International Fencing Federation with electronic equipments.


The teams from Services Sports Control Boards, Shashtra Seema Bal, A.P., Assam, Bihar, Chandigarh, Delhi, Punjab, J&K, Himachal Pradesh, Manipur, Karnataka, Kerala, M.P., Chhattisgarh, Pondicherry, Tamilnadu, Uttrakhand, Maharashtra, Haryana & Uttar Pradesh are qualified in the men & women section for this Championship on the basis of Senior National Fencing Championship held at Rohtak (Haryana) from 9th to 13th February, 2013


In this Championship best eight teams & eight Individuals along with host Punjab will take part.
