New Delhi: As 2004 Athens Olympics silver medal winner Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore took over as the new sports minister, replacing Vijay Goel, here on Sunday, the sports fraternity congratulated him for his new role and pinned their hopes on the sportsperson-turned-politician to propel India to sporting glory.
Rathore earlier was the minister of state in the Information and Broadcasting Ministry.
