Delhi: Explosive legend, Nawab of Najafgarh Virender Sehwag has been appointed by Kings XI Punjab as the mentor for the upcoming IPL Season 9. In his new role, Virender Sehwag will work closely with Head Coach Sanjay Bangar and be responsible for guiding and motivating the squad to help them excel at their performances.
Commenting on his appointment Sanjay Bangar Head Coach- Kings XI Punjab said, Virender Sehwag has been an integral part of the KXIP squad over the last two seasons and understands the dynamics of the team very well. With him stepping in as the mentor, the team will immensely benefit from his guidance and advice. His knowledge of the game will certainly help in establishing a strong team and bring out the best in all the players.
