London: Five-time world champion Viswanathan Anand got the better of Veselin Topalov to score his first win in London Chess Classic on Day 5 here on Tuesday.
Earlier, the first match of the day between Maxime Vachier-Lagrave and Anish Giri ended in a 31-move draw while Levon Aronian and Magnus Carlsen too settled to share the points.
