Dubai: The International Cricket Council (ICC) on Monday announced the appointment of Sunset + Vine as its Live Production Partner and Broadcast Solutions as OB Equipment Provider for all televised ICC Events, from 2016 to 2019.
The partnerships, which cover eight major tournaments including next year’s ICC World Twenty20 in India, the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 and six other men’s and women’s ICC tournaments will amount to 185 LIVE matches, produced for a global wide audience.
Each match will be distributed and broadcast by ICC’s Global Broadcast Partner, Star Sports, and its licencees, such as BSKYB (UK), OSN (Middle East & North Africa) and SuperSport (South Africa & sub-Saharan Africa).
The partnerships begin with ICC U19 Cricket World Cup (Bangladesh) in January 2016 followed by the ICC World Twenty20 (India); ICC Champions Trophy 2017 (England & Wales); ICC Women’s World Cup 2017 (England & Wales); ICC U19 Cricket World Cup 2018 (New Zealand); ICC Cricket World Cup Qualifier 2018 (Bangladesh); ICC Women’s World Twenty20 2018 (West Indies) and the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 (England & Wales).
