London: Zaiwalla & Co.LLP, a London-based international law firm with a specialist India desk, is delighted to announce its partnership with Football for Unity, a British charity which aims to bring about the spirit of unity amongst the younger generation through football.
Supported by legendary footballers such as Diego Maradona and Cristiano Ronaldo, Football for Unity provides structured games, training, facilities and health awareness education to groups of young people from diverse local communities who will benefit from improved integration through sport. Alongside this, ‘Toolkit’ sessions on nutrition, behaviour, conflict resolution and equality will engage with youths and teach them to lead better lifestyles.
Zaiwalla & Co. welcomed Diego Maradona at a signing ceremony which saw the Argentinian legend sign a document expressing his commitment to Football for Unity. Maradona said: “I am very pleased to be part of this beautiful project with Football for Unity, helping the children and creating opportunities for their future”.
Maradona is a retired Argentine professional footballer. He has served as a manager and coach at other clubs as well as the national team of Argentina. Many experts, football critics, former players, current players and football fans regard Maradona as the greatest football player of all time.
