New Delhi: Hockey India, the apex organisation governing field hockey in India, has brought on board National Mineral Development Corporation (NMDC) as the Principal Partner for 2015’s most awaited field hockey event, the Hero Hockey World League Final. The Hero Hockey World League Final is organised by the International Hockey Federation (FIH) and will be played at Raipur International Hockey Stadium, Raipur, India from the 27th November- 6th December 2015. This year the Indian men’s team along with Argentina, Great Britain, Canada, Belgium, Australia, Germany and Netherlands will vie for top honours at this global event.
India, currently ranked 8th in the FIH world rankings will enter the tournament on a high, given their recent series win on foreign turf against 7th ranked New Zealand. The Indian team under the guidance of Roelant Oltmans will be preparing with 26 probables for the Hero Hockey World League Final in a national camp at the Netaji Subhash Southern Centre, Bengaluru from 26th October 2015.
