Mumbai: Four top seeded national badminton players from different parts of India will come together to display their badminton proficiency in a friendly match with their Italian counterparts at Kinder+ Sport Expo Milano, a prestigious global expo which has participation from over 140 countries in Milan this year. The badminton tournament will be organized by Ferrero Group’s Kinder+Sport which has a strong presence at the Expo Milano and has organized important events involving international Sports Federations.
The leading badminton players from India - Rana Jayant from Haryana, Vikas Yadav from Uttar Pradesh, Samiya Farooqui from Telangana and Sneha Rajwar from Uttarakhand are all under 13 years National level badminton champions. They have been selected by the Badminton Association of India (BAI), the governing body for promoting badminton at a national level in India to participate at the Kinder+Sport badminton tournament.

Expo Milano is a 6-month global exposition concluding on October 31, 2015. This year, Kinder+Sport has unveiled its manifesto “It’s time to move kids together” at the expo. The Manifesto embodies the principles of Kinder+Sport project and asserts the main values of movement for young generations, from a physical, social and educational point of view. It represents the social effort of Ferrero Group in sustaining active life styles and the will to share them with the sports sphere and international Institutions. The manifesto has been undersigned by top representatives of sports and international government institutions.
Kinder+Sport has an area dedicated to children and families where they can experience the Joy of moving through an educational itinerary based on movement and creativity. The innovative Joy of moving garden is located at the centre of Kinder+Sport area to help stimulate the physical, cognitive and social development of children and contribute to grow active citizens of tomorrow.
