New Delhi: Making this festive weekend a delight for families and soccer fans, DLF Promenade organised an exclusive Soccer Clinic by The Arsenal Football academy for children this weekend. The clinic saw spot registrations for as many as 80 young football enthusiasts. This was held over a period of 2 days, Saturday and Sunday (29th – 30th August), at The Hub, DLF Promenade. Children played the Arsenal Way and won #RayParlour & #SolCampbell signed Arsenal Soccer School Jerseys, merchandise and membership discounts. DLF Promenade also awarded a special scholarships to 3 under privileged children of Magic Bus, a non-profit organisation, which works towards the welfare of underprivileged children via sports. These children will now get to train under the Arsenal academy for the entire year.
Activities like Penalty shootout (how many you can score in 3 shots), Keep Uppie (how many time you can juggle a ball), Obstacle course (How quickly can you complete our score), Trick Challenge (how many tricks can you do) and the rapid fire quiz (how much do you know about Arsenal FC), engaged the kids through the weekend.
While awarding the scholarship to the Magic Bus children, Ms. Dinaz Madhukar Sr. Vice President & Mall Head, DLF Promenade said “India is a land of champions and we need to instill core values like self-belief and focus into them. Through this soccer clinic in association with the Arsenal Football academy, we wanted to encourage families visiting the mall to involve their children in sports and also support these talented and deserving children from Magic Bus to realize their potential."

The action-packed weekend fun was doubled by the screening of Arsenal & Newcastle United for all the football lovers at DLF Promenade. Soccer enthusiasts and their parents also availed a 15% discount on India on Track – Arsenal Soccer School Membership and 20% discount on Arsenal Merchandise at The Puma Store. At the clinic free training sessions and exclusive arsenal merchandises was also given out to young soccer enthusiasts.
