Sunny’s Grand Australian Road trip

New Delhi: Sundeep Gajjar (aka Sunny aka MotoGrapher) will be embarking on a solo journey of a lifetime on a Ducati super sports touring motorcycle powered by Shell Advance Oils. He will be representing India’s largest motorcycling community and platform – xBhp.

Being, a well – known Indian Motorcycle Travel Photographer with global recognition and praises, Sunny’s work has been published in various Indian, Australian and New Zealand magazines. He is also the only journalist from Asia to get featured in the prestigious Ducati Redline Annual Magazine. Sunny has also held 3 solo photo exhibitions, two in India and one in Australia showcasing his travels around the world.

The aim of this current trip is to capture the beauty and freedom of motorcycle travel against the beautiful and surreal Australian landscapes. The journey will begin anti-clockwise from Sydney to Gold coast to the center of Australia (Uluru), to the northern city of Darwin and then back via the isolated east coast to one of the most isolated cities in the world – Perth. From Perth, he will continue down south on the east coast and then trace his way across the fantastic and surreal Nullarbor (meaning no trees) planes through Australia’s longest dead straight road (146 kms!) and through to the stunning Great Ocean Road giving way to the cosmopolitan Melbourne. From there, he will go onwards through the island state of Tasmania and back to Australian mainland to Sydney via the Australian capital city of Canberra.

The main sponsor for this trip is Shell Advance Oil along with Ducati Australia. Best Western Australia will be providing partial accommodation support to Sunny to ensure he gets the right environment at the end of each day to enable him to process photos, videos and blog. RevZilla.com, a leading worldwide online motorcycle accessories retailer will be providing Sunny with the latest all weather cameras and communication devices which will enable him to take photos and videos from unique angles on his journey and also stay connected with the world while on the move using advanced motorcycle-phone communication devices. The travelogue will also be published in the Australian Motorcyclist Magazine (AMM). Adobe, with their world-leading photo editing software is also providing technical support.
