Poonam Pandey knows the art to use Twitter to her advantage. The damsel with a fantastic body made the best use of the social networking site to keep herself in news by posting her nude pictures at the drop of a hat. Her bold initiatives have been attracting a lot of eyeballs ever since she declared to go nude for Mahendra Singh Dhoni and his team infront of the whole stadium if they won the World Cup last year.
Though her ambition wasn’t fulfilled, she took on to the Twitter route to give soothing relief to the eyes of her admirers, as she started posting her sexy and raunchy pictures on the social networking site that moved quite an eyeballs. And once she realised the power of the social media to get instant fame via infamy, there was no looking back for the former Kingfisher model who kept on hogging the limelight by using Twitter, cricket, nudity and controversy to her best use.
It was this bold approach that made her one of the most sought after girl on Twitter as she soon became an internet sensation. She missed no opportunity to shed off her clothes and once she had done it for Sachin Tendulkar’s 100 hundreds and for Shah Rukh Khan and his Kolkata Knight Riders for their stupendous success in IPL-5, Pandey overtook porn star Sunny Leone in terms of popularity on the social networking site.
Her moves paid off as the wannabe actress with ambitions got an entry into the Bollywood and she could not have found a better way to make a debut than to act in an adult film called Nasha. "There are different types of addiction. This film is also about one type of addiction and is certainly a movie that one will remember in the years to come," says the 21-year-old Nasha girl. The film is produced by Surender Suneja and Aditya Bhatia.
"I had over a hundred offers till date to act in all kinds of movies. But I chose this film because I wanted to be the heart of the story and not just a part of the script. I did not merely want to be relegated to be a prop on the set and wanted to act properly in the film and this film that Aditya Bhatia is producing promised to be that movie," says Poonam.
The poster of the film, which has been released, shows nude human figures in various postures to spell the word and it has already created a buzz on Twitter.
