New Delhi: Milagrow HumanTech, a leading provider of TabTop PC’s and Domestic Robots today announced that it will launch a Domestic Robot in the name of Olympic winner Saina Nehwal who won the Bronze for badminton. Milagrow has also decided to honor the athlete by giving five per cent of the sales proceeds from special edition product to the medal winner.
Speaking about the launch, Mr Rajeev Karwal, Founder & CEO Milagrow Business & Knowledge Solutions said, “We are very delighted that Saina Nehwal won the bronze medal and the third medal for India, making us proud yet again.” As Milagrow had announced we will launch the special edition products in the name of Saina Nehwal very soon, after consulting her. Milagrow has also decided to honor Mr Pullela Gopichand for his Yeoman service to Indian Badminton by giving him one percent of the sales proceeds from Saina Nehwal's special edition range. Gagan Narang and Vijay Kumar and those who are yet to win more medals will also get a chance to win this honor.
Speaking further Mr. Karwal added “we decided on launching the special edition products before the tournament started and once the winners (which as of today are Vijay Kumar, Gagan Narang and Saina Nehwal) are back we will meet them and finalise the entire details of the special edition launch. We are not looking for any endorsement from them but honoring them. They will inspire a billion. We feel that this initiative is a way of encouraging the athletes to give their 100% not only during Olympics but also in the future whenever they are competing”.
Milagrow expects to easily sell more than 10,000 Tab Tops / Domestic Robots named after Gagan Narang, Vijay Kumar and now Saina Nehwal at a price of at least Rs 10,000. Milagrow will launch the special edition products after consultation with the winners about the specifications and packaging, within 6 months after the Olympics. 5% of the net sales proceeds of these special products will be given out to the winners, over the life time of the medal.
Milagrow still expects that India will outperform its previous best this time in all the games especially Discus, Boxing, Shooting and Wrestling.
