Celebi supports GameOn India in promoting the love for sports

New Delhi: With Olympics 2012 fervor at its peak, GameOn India and Celebi Delhi Cargo Terminal Management India Pvt. Ltd., today organized an inaugural seminar “For the Love of Sport”.  The event aimed at bringing together people from various walks of life for uniting them by their shared love for sports. Celebi & GameOn India took this initiative with intent to provide a common platform to the working class professionals and expatriates for playing a sport of their choice with like minded professionals.

The event witnessed the presence of eminent speakers like Joy Bhattacharya, CEO, Kolkata Knight Riders, Reena Kaushal Dharmshaktu, first Indian woman to ski to the South Pole, Ashok Rathod, Founder Oscar – Organisation for social change, Zafar Iqbal, Former hockey captain, Rahul Verghese, Founder Running and Living Infotainment Pvt. Ltd. & Shiva Keshavan, First Indian representative to compete in luge at the Winter Olympic Games.  These stalwarts descended upon a common platform for sharing their experiences and inculcating the importance of sports and being fit amongst the busy working class professionals.

Jyotsna Govil, Hon. Secretary, Indian Cancer Society also believes that in today’s life, it is imperative for every human being to imbibe healthy habits to stay hale and hearty. Ms. Chandra Rekha Gulabani, Secretary & Co-ord. Resources Cancer Sahyog and a cancer survivor also feels that physical activity is the most essential part of our lives. She gives credit of her recovery to ICS who helped her fight the stigma and appreciates the efforts made by the organizations in educating the society.

In today’s fast paced life, where work takes precedence above all other facets of life, GameOn India organized this event to celebrate the achievement of India sportspersons and showcase their stories to the people at large and energies a community. Supporting GameOn India in their noble initiative, Celebi sponsored the event and took a step towards bringing a change in the society.
