My little girl will come to watch me play in Wimbledon: Bhupathi

New Delhi: After claiming the French Open mixed doubles title with Sania Mirza, ace Indian tennis player Mahesh Bhupathi said that her daughter who is four months old right now will come to watch him compete in the Wimbledon.

Bhupathi after the win dedicated the win to her daughter saying that she was watching him play in the finals sitting in front of the TV screen.

Bhupathi after the match in a TV interview said, “She was seeing me play on back home, she wouldn’t understand what is happening because she is too young for that.”

His wife Lara Dutta twitted that she woke up to a flood of congratulatory messages. “Thank you everyone! Daughter is wondering what the hulaballoo is all about in the guava orchard. I am the proudest, happiest wife tonight Mahesh Bhupathi. You are Saira's hero."
