Cricket, IPL, glam and nudity: Route to fame for starlets like Poonam Pandey and Rozlyn Khan

Poonam Pandey and her art of hogging limelight dates back to the 2011 World Cup when she had offered to go nude in front of the whole stadium if India managed to win the World Cup! Though MS Dhoni and his brigade did India proud by winning the coveted trophy after the gap of 28 years, the much anticipated nude show never happened due to reasons better known to Pandey. Nevertheless, the Kingfisher calendar model id get her share of publicity and since then have been using cricket for her benefit now and then.

Poonam Pandey made headlines again recently when she stripped for SRK's Kolkata Knight Riders after its victory in IPL season 5. And even though Mahendra Singh Dhoni was on the losing side as KKR defeated his team (Chennai Super Kings), the captain is happy with the starlet’s nude act.

During a recent press meet in Gurgaon, when the cricketer was asked about Poonam's strip show on Twitter, he said: "You need to have some spice." However, Dhoni did not say anything further and just smiled, even though he was asked to say more.

And it’s not over yet. Dhoni can take solace from the fact that he also has someone who is doing a Poonam act for him, despite being on the losing side. Yet another IPL party girl Rozlyn Khan is taking a similar root to fame. She has chosen the fan following of MS Dhoni to grab the eyeballs as she has stripped for the Chennai Super Kings captain.

Dhoni and his brigade might have lost the finals to SRK’s KKR, but Rozlyn support for MS remained undiminished as she went topless for her star in the manner in which Poonam Pandey had gone nude and posted her picture on the micro-blogging site twitter. Little known model Rozlyn too had jumped into bandwagon of getting famous through infamy and has decided to cash on the popularity of Indian cricket team captain MS Dhoni.

Rozlyn recently did a tacky photoshoot and exhibited her unflinching support for Dhoni’s men in yellow. She also showed her butt while supporting her favourite team. Before the final game, Rozlyn had announced that she would do a special bikini shoot with captain Dhoni if his team won. Unfortunately, Dhoni’s team did not go on to win the match, but that did not stop Rozlyn from doing a dare-to-bare act. Now the starlet is riding on the IPL tide and comes up with the video of her racy photoshoot, showing her love for IPL.

•    Poonam Pandey tweeted two pictures of her on the micro-blogging site Twitter for her new ‘Wall’, Virat Kohli during India’s tour to England. The dusky model tweeted: “Kohli has taken over Mr Dependable title from Dravid. Here is a pic for the new Wall.” She posted the pictures revealing her assets a day after Rahul Dravid called it quits from One-day International following India’s final match against England on Friday.
When Kohli reached his half-century, she wrote, “Delhi da Munda Kohli is tearing England apart. Chak De! Maa kasam, wat a 100! Virat ne jeet liya dil.”

“Alvida Dravid. You hv made us proud. Muaaaah,” she wrote when Dravid got out on 69.

•    Poonam Pandey posted a fresh picture on Twitter after MS Dhoni & Co put on a stunning performance to emerge winners against Sri Lanka to keep their hopes alive of making it to the CB Series finals. The 19-year-old had started a countdown on Twitter asking her fans if they would like to see “Poonam Padey without Bikini” and on public demand posted a topless picture of hers’.

•    Poonam Pandey fulfilled her promise of going nude as Sachin Tendulkar scored his 100th ton. The model tweeted a new nude picture of her after Master Blaster achieved the much elusive landmark during India’s Asia Cup tie against Bangladesh at Dhaka on Friday. The 19-year-old tweeted her nude picture stating: “This historic moment reminds me of an old picture which one of my fan had Morphed.”

She even boldly asked her tweet fans: “Tweethearts let me know how should be the #PicforGod to be.” Earlier she had tweeted: “Thanks to Rahul Gandhi for Tendulkar's 100th 100. Had his grandmother not created Bangladesh, Sachin would not have got his ton!” “Tweethearts!!... See I had told u last night that Sachin will get his 100th ton today.”

•    Poonam Pandey kept her promise of baring it all after Kolkata Knight Riders’ maiden title win in the Indian Premier League 2012. After more than an year of promising to go nude if Indian won the world cup, the sexy damsel kept her promise of baring it all, as on Sunday night she shared a nude picture of her on the social networking and micro-blogging site Twitter.

“here is a Pic as i PROMISED,” Poonam wrote.

She added, “WARNING 18 & under should not try looking up the pic. that said i do not take responsibility for anyone under age.”
