It’s raining entertainment and love in Albert Park

The glamorous other halves of the Formula One heroes live life in the fast lane and this week it's a one-way ride to Albert Park.

Forget the grid girls and lycra clad promo babes it is the wives and girlfriends of the fastest men on four wheels who turn heads in the exclusive F1 paddock.

As per the Herald Sun, Japanese model Jessica Michibata is back in Melbourne for this weekend's Grand Prix to support boyfriend McLaren driver Jenson Button.

The couple have twice celebrated a victory in Melbourne with Button winning in 2009 and 2010.

Pussycat Doll bombshell Nicole Scherzinger may use the Australian Grand Prix as a chance to show that her on-again-off-again relationship with McLaren's Lewis Hamilton is back on track.

The pair split in October after a three year jetsetting relationship, however last month the pair was spotted on a romantic break in Monaco where they holed up in a luxury hotel.

According to the Herald Sun, Scherzinger brought some pop star sizzle to the F1 paddock club last year as she strutted through the enclosure and a return to Albert Park would bring some welcome international celebrity clout to the F1 circus.

It is highly doubtful reigning world champion Sebastian Vettel will step out with his partner, Hanna Pratel, while in Melbourne. Apparently, the pair, who met during secondary school, is one of the F1 circuit's least visible couples.

Ferrari's Fernando Alonso could well use this weekend's race to unveil his new squeeze. Alonso split with his wife, Spanish pop singer Raquel del Rosario, in December after five years of marriage. He is reportedly now seeing stunning Russian-born Swiss model Xenia Tchoumitcheva.

Fellow Ferrari driver Felipe Massa has been supported by his wife Anna Raffaela Bassi at Albert Park on a semi-regular basis over the years. Most recently she appeared at Albert Park last year to watch her husband in action.

The same can be said for Michael Schumacher's wife Corinna Betsch. Despite being married to one of the greats of F1, Betsch has been masterful at avoiding the spotlight, instead preferring to concentrate on bringing up the couple's children.

Former world champion, Kimi Raikkonen, who now drives for Lotus, is married to Jenni Dahlman, a towering and striking former Miss Scandinavia.Fellow Lotus driver Romain Grosjean is dating TV reporter Marion Jolles, while Force India's Paul di Resta is in a long-term relationship with Laura Jordan.

Sauber's Kamui Kobayashi dates Japanese actor Yu Abiru, while Caterham's Heikki Kovalainen is engaged to sports psychology student Catherine Hyde who is expected to be at Albert Park.

Williams driver Paster Maldonado's girlfriend is Gabriella Tarkany, while Marussia's Timo Glock has striking blonde German model Isabell Re as his better half. Meanwhile, Australian ace Mark Webber is ensconced in a long-time relationship with Ann Neal.
