New Delhi: Woman wrestler Divya Kakran bagged a gold as India earned four medals on the final day of the Asian Cadet Wrestling Championship at the KD Jadhav Wrestling Stadium in the Indira Gandhi Indoor Sports Complex on Sunday.
Divya defeated Mongolian Byambadorj Tsetsegbayar 3-2 to win the yellow metal in the women's 70 Kg competition, while Deepak, Sumit and Monu won bronze medals.
The other three wrestlers -- Deepak, 85 Kg./Greco Roman Style; Sumit of 100 Kg./Greco Roman Style and Monu of 46 Kg. / Free Style -- won bronze medals in their respective weight categories. The details of the medal winners are given below:

In the men’s category, the Iran Wrestling Team became champion in Free Style by securing 77 points while the India bagged the 2nd position by securing 74 points and Uzbekistan secured 3rdPosition with 59 points.
The Iran Team was also champion in Greco Roman Style by securing 82 points and Kazakhstan and Krygyzstan secured 2nd and 3rd position respectively by winning 65 points and 63 points respectively. The Indian Team secured 5th Position with 56 points.
In the female category, the Japanese wrestling team secured the first position by securing 92 points while the India was runner up with 80 points and Kazakhstan team was 3rd with 67 points.
