New Delhi: The cream of Indian Table Tennis will be participating in the XXXIV PSPB Inter Unit Table Tennis Tournament being contested at the Jamia Millia Islamia Sports Complex, New Delhi from the 5th – 9th of Jan 2015. Hosted by Engineers India Limited, the tournament will see International and National stars like Gnanasekaran Sathiyan, Subhajit Saha, Soumyajit Ghosh, Soumyadeep Roy, Sourav Chakraborty, Ms K Shamini, Ms Mouma Das and several other top players in action. Both the Existing National Champions Sanil Shetty (Mens) and Ankita Das (Women) will also be seen in action.

PSPB with the help of its member organizations has over the last two decades been encouraging, developing, supervising, coordinating and organizing various sports," said Mr. A. K. The five-day Table Tennis extravaganza, which is also one of the most prestigious events in the Indian Table Tennis Calendar, will have the players representing their companies in the keenly contested and prestigious Team Championship. The Team Championships are decided on a point system with points awarded for Singles and Doubles matches played in the Men’s, Women and Veteran categories.
There will also be fierce competition in the Singles Championships where the players will again contest in the Men’s, Women and Veteran categories. The same process will be followed in the Doubles Championships with the same three categories.
Defending Champions ONGC are certain to put up a good fight but with so many good players present the stage is set for some scintillating Table Tennis and any team could win.
