Qatar: Pankaj Advani commenced his campaign at the Asian Snooker Championship with a 4-0 win over Saudi Arabia's Sulaiman Almisfer. In his first match, Pankaj defeated him in straight frames, 82-26, 81-06,76-23,70-15 with breaks of 67 and 69 in the second and fourth frame respectively.
Commenting on his start, Pankaj was relieved, "It was great to have this campaign started, there is a rhythm that is found on commencing with a tournament and I am delighted to have got off to a winning start. I am focused on working towards a similar score-line for all my group matches."
Pankaj will play his second match in the group stages on Sunday 17th April at 16:00 Hours, Local Time.
