Sepang: The Malaysian Grand Prix resumed after it was red flagged by the officials due to torrential rain which reduced visbility and also making drivers lose their grip due to wet tracks at the Sepang circuit here on Sunday.
The race was halted for 51 and had only eight laps completed.
The race restarted with all the cars had wet tyres fitted and with Lewis Hamilton leading, McLaren team mate Jenson Button in second and Sergio Perez third in a Sauber.
