Asia Dream Cup and Asia Road Racing Championship off to a scintillating start at the Buddh International Circuit

Moto Asia Dream CupGreater Noida: The 5th round of the Asia Dream Cup (ADC) and Asia Road Racing Championship (ARRC) got off to a scintillating start at the Buddh International Circuit here in Greater Noida.

The Honda2 Wheeler backed trio of Hari Krishnan (bike # 17), Sethu Rajiv (bike # 18) and S. Mathanakumar put up a spirited display to claim 7th position (17.06.796) and 10th position (17.10.871)) respectively in Race 1 of the 5th round of Asia Dream Cup. They will have another shot tomorrow in Race 2 as they look to pick up a podium finish.

Claiming the first spot in Asia Dream Cup was Hiroki Nakamura of Japan who clocked 17.01.674. Joining him in the podium were Indonesian riders Yassiin Gabriel Somm and Muhd Febriansyah finished second and third respectively in a closely contested race.

SuperSports 600CC (Race 1)

The Indian challenge at the 5th round of ARRC Supersports600 CC received an early setback as the only Indian in the grid, Sarath Kumar had to withdraw from the race owing to a crash during the qualifying. Anthony Keith West from Australia emerged victorious clocking 25.21.592 followed by Dectha KraisartA from Thailand and Ahmad Yudhistira from Indonesia in second and third place respectively.

Honda CBR 250cc Open (Race 1)

The grid for Honda’s flagship CBR 250R Team Championship saw India’s top notch 21 riders. Sethu Rajiv grabbed the top position with a total time of 2.32.667 and was closely followed by Mathana Kumar S who finished second. Mithun Kumar P K finished third to complete the podium.
