Round 3 of the JK Tyre Volkswagen Vento Cup will take place at BIC, India’s only F1 circuit. After the first two rounds at Kari Motor Speedway, the drivers will now be exposed to a high-speed track that offers the right mix of flowing corners, tight hairpin bend, chicanes and fast straights. Before the drivers get competitive, over the weekend, they will undergo a mid-season testing on 14th October which will allow them to get accustomed to the new track. Post mid-season test, the drivers will also have their second fitness camp on 15th October in association with British Nutritions to ensure that they are working out in the right way to train their bodies for the extremes of racing.

Sirish Vissa, Head of Volkswagen Motorsport India, commented: “We have witnessed a cut-throat competition in the first two rounds and I expect it to get even better in the upcoming rounds at BIC. It is exciting to see that there is a fair amount of competition for every position in the championship. Three junior drivers are contending for positions in the top 10 in the championship – this is a sign that the young drivers are picking up very well.”
