Rosberg wins German GP, Botta finishes second

Nico-Rosberg-GER-Mercedes-AMGHockenheim: Nico Rosberg got the better of Valtteri Bottas to win the German Grand Prix and extend his lead to 14 points over Mercedes teammate Lewis Hamilton, who finished third after starting 20th.

Meanwhile, four-time defending champion Sebastian Vettel was fourth, ahead of Fernando Alonso who raced ahead of Red Bull's Daniel Ricciardo for fifth.

"It's an amazing feeling to win at home. It's a very special day," said Rosberg.

Meanwhile Hamilton said that he had a great fun. "I did as good as I could. It was hard to get through the pack safely... it was hard to overtake so I'm glad to get some points today," he said.

Meanwhile, Nico Hulkenberg of Force India finished seventh.
