New Delhi: The 2019 National Figure Skating Championship concluded this morning at iSKATE- ice skating rink & cafe at Ambience Mall, Gurugram. This was the sixteenth edition of National Ice Figure Skating Championship with about 100 figure skaters from all over India participating in this prestigious event. Andhra Pradesh was the leading team  with high standard athletes.

The figure skating championship was conducted in various age groups independently for boys and girls. There were distinctive classifications like solo and synchronized skating. The jury comprised of experienced figure skating coaches - Mr. J. S. Sahney, Mr. Vasu dev Tandi, Mr. NishchayLuthra and Mr. Pavan Kumar Akula.

The competitive event culminated to an award ceremony and honor service that was held on 30^th August 2019 at 11 am wherein winners (at first position ) in different categories were awarded a cash prize of INR 10,000. Further a cash prize of INR 20,000 was awarded to the first position holder team in SNYCHRONIZED SKATING. The Results are placed below :

With a vision to aid the overall development of winter sports in India, we are always keen to host and support National level events in Ice Skating, Speed Skating and Ice Hockey along with training camps to motivate and nurture the upcoming talent.”
