Salim-Sulaiman’s UP Nawabs go down to Haryana Sultans in ‘Fight Night-9’ Super Fight League

Haryana Sultans UP NawabsNew Delhi: In Fight Night-9 of Super Fight League, the world’s first mixed martial arts league, Haryana Sultans defeated Salim Sulaiman’s UP Nawabs on 05th February 2017 at The Siri Fort Sports Complex in New Delhi.

The arena saw fans come in large numbers to witness an amalgamation of grappling styles and counter attacks which has captivated the audience for the last 3 weeks. Salim-Sulaiman who performed for the opening ceremony of the league were yet again awestruck as both teams swung for the fences in the last match of the week.

Salim Sulaiman said “Both the teams played very well. It’s a game, one has to win, and other has to lose. Our regards to Randeep Hooda and his team Haryana Sultans. We will come back strong in our next match”

Bollywood celebrities Ajay Devgn, Arjun Rampal, Salim & Sulaiman, Tiger Shroff, Randeep Hooda and Jacqueline Fernandez who co-own Super Fight League teams Mumbai Maniacs, Delhi Heroes, UP Nawabs, Bengaluru Tigers, Haryana Sultans and Goa Pirates respectively have come out in support of their teams.

Former Cricket Captain Mohammad Azharuddin and India’s First Formula One Motor Racing Driver Narain Karthikeyan have also witnessed the raw adrenaline of Mixed Martial Arts at the inaugural season of Super Fight League.

All the Super Fight League matches are held at the DDA squash and badminton stadium, Siri Fort Sports complex and will be telecasted live 7 PM onwards on Sony ESPN and Sony ESPN HD channels and can also be streamed live on SonyLIV.
