Mumbai: A new game called the Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) has suddenly gained a lot of popularity in India. The Super Fight League has brought some of the biggest names in MMA to India and thanks to the Bollywood trinkets, the sports is doing great.

So the game happens in a fashion that each match comprises of three rounds, each of five minutes, unless the fighter knocks his opponent or forces him to surrender.

Out of the five bouts that comprised Indians; two were fought with fighters from USA and three from Sri Lanka. The Indians were evenly matched with the Lankans, but stood a failure against the American fighters, who have been professional for several years.

The four fighters from America told what the sport is all about and why is it a huge name in the US.

A couple of people, who have witnessed the international jitters, said that while the initiative was a good one, there was a long road ahead.

However the MMA fans mentioned that though it’s a good attempt, but the organizers need to realize that just making two guys fight without people understanding the rules can make MMA boring. It is extremely cerebral and people need to know how a fight works
