The flag off of the Monnet Go for Gold initiative from Jammu earlier this month, and the way Chandigarh welcomed these 12 budding athletes, only strengthens our belief that India is gearing up in full strength to show its support to all our Olympic bound athletes. This initiative is just the first steps towardssending out the message of support and faith to our London bound athletes this year. For long we have struggled to produce world class athletes but the recent past has thrown a different picture in front of us and I believe that the time for change has arrived and Monnet Go for Gold is just our way to show faith in the capabilities of our Olympic bound athletes. We also hope that the youth of this country understands the importance of sports as a career option,” said Sandeep Jajodia, Executive Vice Chairman & Managing Director, MonnetIspat & Energy Limited welcoming the contingent.
