Mumbai: Savio Club, staged a magnificent rally to down International House YMCA 55-52 in the men's section of the Mahindra NBA Challenge Basketball League that got underway at various courts here this weekend.

Playing at their home court in Andheri, the Savio lads trailed 21-34 at the halfway mark,  but then came back strongly to turn the tables on International House to come up trumps.  State player Saurab and Jigar did well for Savio Club.

In the girls' under 18 section, played at the Indian Gymkhana on Sunday, Hoopers scored a narrow 31-26 victory over Borivali YMCA. For Hoopers who led  11-5 at half-time, Madhura  with eight points  stole the show.
