The 4th Uttarakhand State Senior Basketball Championship for Men & Women will be hosted by District Basketball Association, Dehra Dun and Uttarakhand Basketball Association from 21st to 23rd January 2014 at Welham Boys’ School, Indoor Basketball Court,Dehra Dun.

As many as 20 teams in both men & women sections are expected to participate in this championship.

The "Official Basketball" for the conduct of the 4th Uttarakhand State Basketball Championship will be "NIVIA PRO-TOUCH" Leather Pasted Basketball size # 6 and Size # 7.

During the Championship the Uttarakhand Basketball Association will be conducting FIBA New Rule Changes Clinic and Uttarakhand State Referees examination.

During the Championship the Uttarakhand Basketball Association will select probable players in both men & women section for Pre- Senior National Basketball Coaching camp in preparation of the State team for participation in the 64thSenior National Basketball Championship to be held in New Delhi from 26th February to 5th March 2014.

The State Basketball Referee’s Open Book Examination for the Test Referees and Promotion cases (Class ”B” to Class “A”)will be held on the morning of 23rd January 2014.You are requested to inform the qualified Class “B” Referee of your Association to appear for the Promotion Examination which is mandatory (MUST) for all the qualified referees.
