New Delhi: Jawaharlal Nehru Hockey Tournament Society in collaboration with One Thousand Hockey Legs is celebrating National Sports Day by organizing Nehru-Dhyan Chand Sports Cup for Delhi Schools Boys (u-15 years).
 

As many as 12 school teams are participating in the competition. The final will be played on 29th August 2013 at the Shivaji Stadium, New Delhi.
 

The Junior School Boys final will be played at 4.00 p.m. follow by an Exhibition Match between the top two Women Academies namely M.P. Women Hockey Academy, Gwalior and Haryana Women Hockey Academy, Shahabad.
 

JNHT Society will also release its annual souvenir at this occasion. Yogacharya Dr Navdeep Joshi will demonstrate the 'Yoga Exercises' to the participants. Hockey Padmashree Balbir Singh, Olympic Gold Medalist 1948, 52 and Capt 1956, Dronacharya Sardar Hardyal Singh, Olympic Gold Medalist 1952 and Dronacharya Cdr. G. Nandy Singh, Olympic Gold Medalist 1948 and 1952 shall also be present and shall be honoured by the Society.
 

This will be Society tribute to our wizard Major Dhyan Chand on his birthday. The Invitation Card is enclosed for your perusal.
