Patiala: Resuming at 343 for 4 overnight Patiala batsmen kept on grinding and milking the Ludhiana attack as they went on to muster 644 for 8 in 153.3 overs before declaring the innings closed.

Overnight not out batsmen Anmolpreet and Sanvir hammered 164 runs for the 5th wicket before Anmolpreet was caught and bowled by Nikhil after scoring a quick fire century 111 off 153 balls studded with 15 well struck boundaries. Sanvir then found an able partner in Karan Kaila and the two stitched a 168 runs partnership for the 6th wicket before Navendu disposed off Sanvir by catching him off his own bowling for a sparkling century 162 off 199 balls with the help of 17 boundaries .
