Chandigarh: The host team of Live Wire Coaching Centre defeated Gallant Cricket Club by 82 runs to lift the Shaheed Cricket trophy in the final match held today.Earlier, after electing to bowl first, the bowlers of Gallant Cricket Club failed to stop the batsmen of the LWCC team from scoring a total of 156 runs.
Batsmen Sikander Rana was the main scorer for the team with 47 runs off 27 balls. He was equally supported by Vinay Bansal 29 off 26 and Kishore Bhatt 23 off 13. For the bowling side, Sanyam was the pick of the bowlers who took 3 for 37 while Neeraj and Prabhjot Singh claimed two wickets each.
