Faridabad: M. Parimala Devi raced her way past the reigning World champion I. Ilavazhaki 18-22, 20-14, 12-9 in the women's final of the 19th Federation Cup carrom championship at the Sudha Rustagi College of Dental Science and Research, Bopanna Road, on Thursday.

In the men's final, K. Srinivas of PSPB beat the current World champion Yogesh Pardeshi relatively easily at 25-19, 25-4. Yogesh sparkled in patches and performed a white slam.
