Hyderabad: Rohtak Road Gymkhana beat Surender Khanna Academy by seven wickets in the opening match of the fifth Ganga Cup cricket tournament at the Ganga International School ground on Wednesday.

The scores: S.K. Academy 198 for six in 40 overs (Vivek Bhatu 60, Nitesh Lochab 31, Chander Thapa 31, Abhinav Bali four for 47) lost to R.R. Gymkhana 199 for three in 33.5 overs (Deepak Sharma 64, Digvijay Sehrawat 57 not out, Rahul Tyagi 37 not out).
