TN and AP enter last eight

New Delhi: Tamil Nadu continued to assert its strength as it outplayed Kerala, dropping a mere four games in all, on way to a 3-0 victory in a Pool A league match of the National inter-State tennis championship at the DLTA Complex, here on Wednesday. Top seed Tamil Nadu will be challenged by Andhra Pradesh in the quarterfinals.

 

Gujarat and Nagaland were the other teams to confirm their knockout qualification on the third day of the championship. Gujarat scored its second win as it overwhelmed Tripura to qualify ahead of Delhi from Pool E. It will run into third seed Haryana now.
