Thiruvananthapuram: BSNL Kerala dethroned defending champion BSNL Tamil Nadu 95-77 to win the title in the all-India BSNL basketball tournament held in Kolkata, according to information on Friday.

Mahesh top-scored for Kerala with 22 points and he was supported well by Vijobi Vakkachan (20), Manzur and Ullas, both of whom scored 19 points each. For Tamil Nadu, Sharavanan (20) was the highest scorer. In the semifinal, Kerala defeated Orissa 64-48 and in the quarterfinal it crushed West Bengal 68-38.
