Chennai: S. Fredy set up the third goal to help ICF to a 3-1 win over Arrows FC in the St Joseph's CFA senior division football league match on Thursday.
ICF's first goal came in the eighth minute when S. Suresh Kumar dodged two defenders and sent Fredy a lovely cross from the right, and the latter slotted home. Bythe 19th minute, ICF went up 2-0 when Fredy set J. Venkatesan up with a brilliant long ball from the middle.
Arrows FC got a chance to pull one back in 32nd minute; it was awarded a penalty when A. Suman Raj pushed M.B. Jafar Sadique inside the box. D. Joffin, who took the penalty, made no mistake.
The third goal for ICF was an action replay of the first one, Fredy scoring off Suresh's cross from the right in the 81st minute.
