Records are meant to be broken but some records are almost impossible to break. One such record is AB de villiers’s fastest ton against West Indies on Jan 18, 2015 when he scored 149 off 44 balls.
However, here are the four batsmen who have courage to achieve this platform.
Glenn Maxwell
The aggressive Kangaroo batsman has the capacity to break AB’s record. He is the best attacking middle-order batsmen who can change the game and destroy the bowling tactics of the opposition. His ability of hitting sixes and reverse sweep boundaries makes him a contender.
Martin Guptill
Few weeks ago Guptill scored a half century in just 19 balls. The 29-year also holds the record of highest individual score in World Cup and the second highest score in One Day Internationals of 237* runs. With the ease he is playing and scoring boundaries, it shows he has the talent to break this record.
Chris Gayle
No one can predict about this batsman. He is the leading six-hitter. He holds many other records, which tell us he is the one of the most powerful hitter of all time. He has also scored 150+ runs on more than three occasions. This proves that the batsman still has the capabilities to break this record.
Aaron Finch
Finch holds the record of highest score in T20 of 156 runs in 63 balls. He is the No. 1 T20 batsman. Finch is an aggressive top-order batsman and a power hitter. Finch’s consistent batting with good scores makes him one of the contenders to break AB’s record.
