Quarterfinals against Tamil Nadu in 1991 u-20 nationals will always be special…

I have many memorable moments but the one close to my heart is when we won the under-20 quarterfinals against Tamil Nadu at Jalandhar in 1991. I played for Delhi and scored two goals. We won the match by a score of 4-0. The moment is so special because I emerged as a highest scorer and after that tournament, first time I got selected for the Junior India camp. It was a great achievement for me and my family because at last I made it.

The second memorable moment for me is when I got selected as umpire in the Indira Gandhi International Hockey Tournament in 2005. It’s a privilege to umpire at International level. As an International umpire I should look at plans and prepare to become mentally and physically stronger to handle the pressure we face in the game.
