3 for 14, a performance I will cherish all my life

I started playing cricket when I was in Class VIII. No one actually motivated me to play the game, it was solely my choice. Initially I was afraid and hesitant to face my school coach but one day I decided to meet him and discuss the ways to go about it. My coach advised me to come to practice field and that was the beginning. I learnt the basics and other many techniques from him and I continued with my practice diligently under my coach. After considerable improvement in my game, I was selected for the school team and finally got a nod to play in the playing 11.

The best day of my playing career came when I took three wickets, giving away just 14 runs against Vishwa Bharti School in the Vishal Memorial Tournament in Noida. That will always remain my best sporting memory till date as my performance provided me with a lot of energy and inspires me to do well every time I am on the field.
