The silver medal lifted my career…

It was the year 1998...when I participated in the Asian Games, held at Bangkok. I represented India in 4X400m relay. We won the silver medal. The pressure was too much to handle but it was this pressure which made us achieve of what we dreamt of. The timing was 46.6 seconds. Thereafter I participated in number of events, like SAF Games and again got silver in relay and bronze in individual event.

Also in the year 2003, I participated in World Master’s Championship wherein I made a record of 50.01 seconds in 400m event in the 40+ age category, which also made me world no. 3. These memories make me feel proud for what I did for my country.
