 Defending champions Chennai Super Kings faced some tense moments  before beating Deccan Chargers at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.  Chennai batting first up posted a challenging target of 160. Deccan  batsmen started well and looking well poised to win the match but a late  comeback by Chennai bowlers helped them win the match by 10 runs and go  to fourth position on the points table.

Francois du Plessis:   He was again the most successful batsman for Chennai Super Kings. He  has been the most consistent batsman for Chennai this season and again  gave a solid support to Chennai at the top of the innings.  He played a  good hand and scored 42 of 35 balls which included two fours and a six  to lay a good foundation for the middle order batsmen.
Suresh Raina:  Suresh Raina, one of the most successful batsmen in IPL played a handy  role for his team. He scored a breezy 32 of 22 deliveries which included  two fours and two sixes.
Flops:
Murali Vijay:  Murali going through a shoddy form in the tournament, failed again  yesterday at the top of the innings. He played couple of good shots  before getting out. He just scored 14 of 11 runs laced with two fours.
Deccan Chargers
Hits:
Cameron White:  One of the best batsmen in the side, he played well to and kept his  team in hunt and it was after his wicket that Deccan lost their way. He  played a attacking knock of 77 in just 53 balls and his innings included  nine fours and two sixes.
Flops:
Middle order batsmen:  Deccan Chargers were well poised to win the match. But after Cameron  White’s departure none of the batsmen could come to the Team’s rescue  resulting in a 10 runs lose.
