TRI Series shape up, India hopeful to secure its position

Brisbane: Looks like luck could be on India’s side this time. With Australia’s deplorable performance and consecutive losses, India would now look for an opportunity to turn the table to its side.

After Sri Lanka scrambled the stakes with the damning defeat of Australia later on Friday, Indians are only gearing up for an exciting journey that is yet to finish.

Though the situation looks hopeful, all could change in the matter of just two games. Also the issue of dropping one of the three openers have also worked. Sehwag still ailing of a back spasm doesn’t look like much of a help.

One boy who continues to impress people is the Delhi hunk Gautam Gambhir, with two wonderful near centuries he has already drawn 188 runs from three matches. India as of now, looks like has a grip over the one day scene. With another defeat in Australia’s kitty, the team could head to some tizzy.

The seventh match of the ODI tri series is scheduled to begin at 8:50 local time, Brisbane.
