India retain No. 1 spot in ICC ODI rankings, Australia are No-2

Dubai: World champion India are still sitting on the top of ICC ODI rankings with 123 ratings points, eight ratings points clear of the second-ranked team, Australia.

Australia retained its position as the number-two ranked side on the Reliance ICC ODI Team Rankings Table after winning the fifth and final One-Day International of the series against England by 49 runs to claim the series 2-1 at the Rose Bowl, Southampton.

The series started off as a battle for the number-two spot on the Reliance ICC ODI Team Rankings Table, with the incumbent Australia needing to win the series to retain its spot.

The series win means that Australia has gained one ratings point to move up to 115 ratings points and solidify its hold on the number two position, while England dropped one ratings point to finish at 111, level with Sri Lanka. However, England is ranked above Sri Lanka when the ratings are calculated beyond the decimal.
