New Delhi: All India Football Federation (AIFF) General Secretary Mr. Kushal Das congratulated East Bengal on their 1-0 triumph over Indonesia’s Semen Padang in the AFC Cup Quarter Final match at the Salt Lake Stadium in Kolkata on Tuesday (September 17, 2013).
“On behalf of the All India Football Federation, I would like to congratulate East Bengal for their win in the AFC Cup Quarter Final. I would also like to wish them all the luck for their trip to Indonesia on the 24th of September,” Das said.
Ryuji Sueoka scored the winner in the 70th minute, curling home a Kevin Lobo floater from the right. The Red & Gold brigade under new Coach Marcos Falopa will take on Semen Padang in the second leg next Tuesday (September 24, 2013).
