Royal Challengers vs Delhi Daredevils: Players to watch out for in Match No. 21

royal-challengers-dare-devilsRoyal Challengers Bangalore are all set to take on Delhi Daredevils in their encounter at Chinnaswamy Stadium on Tuesday. RCB lost their previous match to CSK but with the likes of AB De Villiers and Chris Gayle they would be looking to continue for their domination at home under the captaincy of Virat Kohli. Meanwhile Delhi Daredevils would look for a much needed win this season and with the likes of David Warner and Virender Sehwag there is no reason why they can’t turn the table.

Here we bring to you the players to watch out for in this match.

Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB)

AB De Villiers: De Villiers played a sensational knock of 64 runs off just 32 balls which helped RCB to post a total of 165 on the board. He is an instrumental player for RCB as he can take on even the best in the business for plenty of runs if he gets into the groove. He will be the trump card for RCB in this match.

Chris Gayle: Gayle had a poor outing against Chennai Super Kings (CSK) but he will be ready to unleash himself at his home ground when he will take on the pace battery of Delhi Daredevils. His ability to stay at the crease can hurt DD quite badly especially if RCB bats first.

Virat Kohli: Kohli has been in brilliant form in this edition of IPL and Chinnaswamy has always been a happy hunting ground for him. He played a spectacular knock of 58 runs against CSK. The only worry for him would be his bowlers and the skipper would hope them to be more sensible in the death overs.

Vinay Kumar: Vinay has always been one of the best bowlers for RCB in death overs though he was quite expensive against CSK as he gave away 36 runs in his four overs. Vinay has to focus more on line and length because that was missing quite badly in his initial overs against CSK.

Muttiah Muralitharan: Muralitharan has always been the key for RCB and he would be a real treat to watch when he will take on the duo of David warner and Virender Sehwag. He has that ability to wrap up the batsmen in his spin web and this will make this contest a treat to watch.

Delhi Daredevils (DD)

Virender Sehwag : Sehwag is back in the squad and would be looking to perform well. His form will surely decide the fate of DD in this tournament. He is without a doubt one of the mist dangerous batsmen that World Cricket has ever seen but he needs to live up that stature to get DD their first win of this tournament.

David Warner: Warner had been in incredible form though he missed out in last match when Dale Steyn got him out for a duck. He can be very explosive with Virender Sehwag just like the previous season. His has to prolong he stay on the crease which will give Virender Sehwag that license to take on the bowlers in overs of power play from the other end.

Shahbaz Nadeem: Nadeem put up another great in his last match when finished with a bowling figure of 2/17 in his four overs. He has been the best bowler for Delhi so far in this edition of Indian Premier League.

Irfan Pathan: Pathan has finally come to the party and that too with his all-round ability. He was the one who stabilised the innings of DD and scored 23 runs. He bowled very well to end up with the figures of 1/19 in 3.2 overs.

Morne Morkel: Morkel had not looked that lethal what he was last season but his ability to chip in with the wickets in his death overs still makes him the best bowler of their squad. In a tight match against Sunrisers Hyderabad, he ended up with the figures of 2/27.
