New Delhi: Delhi Daredevils suffered the worst defeat of the season at the hands Chennai Super Kings at Feroze Shah Kotla here on Thursday. Though perturbed by the margin of the defeat, Delhi skipper Mahela Jayawardene said that he would let his players think of what went wrong.

“We have couple of days now and want to keep it simple. I would let the players think of what went wrong. No shouting or anger from me. I am diplomatic and I will keep it that way,” said Mahela, adding that it was hard to explain about the defeat.

“Everyone has to lift their game and create situations from where we can win matches. We have had enough chats and the boys are professional enough to realise what's expected out of them,” said the skipper.

Meanwhile Chennai skipper MS Dhoni said that Hussey gave them a good start and it was important to capitalise on that. “170 was not on the cards. It wasn't that kind of a wicket, Hussey got off to a start and it was important to capitalise. We look at the number of overs to decide who bats where. We also look at the bowlers and their overs remaining. We did not think it was a fast wicket and therefore it so important to give ourselves a few deliveries. We have lost a few games but it's good to get the perfect combination by the end,” said Dhoni.

Michael Hussey, who was man-of-the-match, said, “I am enjoying batting at the top. I don't think we have a clear defined role for me. It's about assessing the pitch quickly and along with the others, try and get going,” said Hussey.
