IPL- Rajasthan Royals vs Royal Challengers Bangalore: Players to watch out for in Match No. 40

rcbchrisgayledancesRajasthan Royals are in brilliant form this season and it is going to be a tough task for Royal Challengers Bangalore when play against them at Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur on Monday. With Shane Watson and James Faulkner in fantastic form, it will be a treat to watch them play against the likes of Ravi Rampaul and Chris Gayle, who too are in sublime form. With both the captains, Rahul Dravid and Virat Kohli, leading by examples, it’s a good contest on offing.

Here we bring to you the players to watch out for from the match between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Rajasthan Royals.

Rajasthan Royals (RR)

Shane Watson:Watson continued his brilliant form as he scored 98 runs against the formidable bowling line-up of Sunrisers Hyderabad. He is an impact player for RR as he that ability to keep the price on his wicket and make it count. If he gets going once again, then Ravi Rampaul is surely going to have a tough time bowling to him.

James Faulkner: Faulkner was at his very best in the last match as he picked up five-wicket haul and gave away just 20 runs in his four overs. He is now the leading wicket-taker of the tournament and would be looking forward to dismantle the trinity of Chris Gayle, Virat Kohli and AB De Villiers who are in some splendid form this season.

Rahul Dravid: Dravid batted handsomely with Watson and he did play very well to score 36 runs off 35 balls which consisted of four fours and one six. He has that ability to play the role of sheath anchor to get his team out from all sorts of trouble. And add to that his leadership skills, he is an asset for RR.

Ajit Chandila: Chandila has bowled some brilliant spells in this IPL and his ability to get the breakthrough early, makes him even more dangerous. In last match against Sunrisers Hyderabad, he ended up picking couple of wickets in his three overs.

Stuart Binny: Binny picked up the wicket of Ashish Reddy when he was trying to fancy his chances and put the much needed brakes on SRH’s innings. He is in good shape this season and is contributing well with both bat as well as the bowl. He is a great asset to the team in the middle-order.

Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB)

Virat Kohli: Kohli has not looked good in away games and he needs to take care of that. Winning home matches comprehensively and losing away matches is not a good sign for his team. He needs to pull his socks up and lead from the front as he did in the previous matches. Playing against the pace battery of Rajasthan Royals is going to be a very tough task.

Chris Gayle: Gayle has been in prime form and is the leading run-getter of IPL 2013. His ability to send the ball out of the park quite frequently makes him a very dangerous player and he is going to be the trump card for RCB. If he fires in the first six overs then it’s going to be almost impossible for RR to stop Gayle-storm at Jaipur.

AB De Villiers: De Villiers is one of the big-four in RCB’s batting line-up. He has played some great knocks this season and it would be interesting to see how he will tackle Faulkner and Watson who are in sublime form this season. He has played some great cameos but a big innings is due from his bat.

Ravi Rampaul: Rampaul has the habit of keep nagging the batsmen with his shorter ones and he would be looking to come hard at Dravid and Watson in this neck-in-neck match. He picked up just one wicket in his four overs in the last match against Mumbai Indians. He needs to come out with a good performance against RR.

Vinay Kumar: Vinay Kumar would be looking to continue his good run against RR. He has bowled some very good overs in the death and would be looking to be amongst the wickets. In last match, he ended up picking the wicket of Keiron Pollard at a crucial time but he gave away 38 runs in his four overs.
